City of York Council Local Plan Examination news and updates:
12 November 2024
The Council have written to the Inspectors in relation to a decision made by its Planning Committee for a site at New Lane, Huntington. A planning permission was approved (23/01016/OUTM), subject to referral to the Secretary of State, to deliver 107 affordable homes on a site in the draft Green Belt. The Council wished to draw the Inspectors’ attention to this application as part of their consideration of the Green Belt boundary in Huntington. The relevant documents are:
